Privacy Policy
Eon Works is a small one man company.
Your privacy is important to me because my business depends on your trust.
The following outlines in detail my privacy policy. Should you have any questions, feel free to email me.
What information do I collect?
I collect information from you when you subscribe to my newsletter (email updates) or write a comment
about my image(s).
The newsletter information I collect is your email address. If you write a
comment about one of my images I store your IP address and the information that you provided like your name,
country, your website URL, and the comment itself.
Additionally my webserver stores log files of all requests made to my site. This is a standard
procedure and includes the following information: IP address, browser, operating system, the resource
requested (like an html file or graphic file), and where the request was made from.
What do I use this information for?
I use the newsletter data to determine the effectiveness of the newsletter -
how many people opened my newsletter and clicked on a link in it.
If you decide to opt-in to my mailing list, you will receive emails that may
include company news, updates, related product or service information, etc.
Note: If at any time you would like to unsubscribe from receiving future
newsletters, I include unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of each
email.
The comment data is simply used to display your comment on this site. The IP
address is kept to differentiate between visitors of the same name,
and in case I need to filter out spam bots and similar annoyances.
I use the server logs to find about a variety of factors that help me improve
this website. For example I like to know which images or articles are the most popular,
where visitors are coming from, or how many visitors I have a day.
Do I use cookies?
Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers
to your computer's hard drive through your web browser (if you allow) that
enables the sites or service providers systems to recognize your browser
and remember certain information. Cookies are used by most sites and you
can disable cookies in your browser at any time.
art.eonworks.com in itself does not use cookies. However, some services that
Eon Works relies on do use cookies. For example I use PayPal to handle the
ordering and payment transactions for which cookies are necessary. I also
have ads and/or affiliate links on some pages which also rely on cookies.
Do I disclose any information to outside parties?
I do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally
identifiable information. This does not include trusted third parties who
assist me in operating my website, conducting my business, or servicing you,
so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. I may
also release your information when I believe release is appropriate to comply
with the law, enforce my site policies, or protect my or others rights,
property, or safety.
Third party links
I may include or offer third party
products or services on my website. These third party sites have separate
and independent privacy policies. I therefore have no responsibility or
liability for the content and activities of these linked sites. Nonetheless,
I seek to protect the integrity of my site and do my best to only work with
the most trusted parties.
At the moment these third parties include: (click on the link to see the privacy policy)

Your Consent
By using art.eonworks.com you consent to this privacy policy.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
If I decide to change this privacy policy, I will post those changes on
this page.
