The Andromeda galaxy is a spiral galaxy located in the constellation Andromeda. The distance from earth is approximately 2.5 million light-years away. This galaxy is even visible to the naked eye provided one is far enough from larger population centers and if the air pollution is low.
In this image I illustrate how the Andromeda galaxy can look like when seen from a moon that is close to it. Unfortunately I made the image at low-resolution thus printing is not possible.
