As I was getting ready to start working on this space artwork I put on Steve Roach's "Dream circle" ambient album and started looking through my astronomy books... An hour later I was in the space mood - full of ideas and cosmic wonder. Although I knew what I wanted to do beforehand, getting into the right mental state has always been important to me. Without it the creation process feels shallow or even empty. You have to sort of "be there" - inside your creation - to make it good.
It's a pity that one can't see all the stars on this small image as they add a lot of space atmosphere (some image detail always gets lost during the scaling-down process). Posters and wallpaper-size images have all the detail necessary to see this space artwork as I intended.

This artwork reminds me to child feeling. I lost my sci-fi imagination but this picture help to touch that feeling again. Thank you so much for your great work.
